Sonoran Sunset Bolo Tie | Sterling Silver & Chrysocolla-Cuprite Stone | Handmade in Durango
A desert sunset you can wear.
This bolo tie features a striking Sonoran Sunset (also known as Sonora Sunrise) stone — a natural blend of chrysocolla, cuprite, and tenorite from Mexico — that mirrors the colors of a southwestern sky at dusk.
The 3" × ¾" oval stone transitions beautifully from black and dark turquoise at the top, to rich red through the center, to soft chrysocolla green at the base. Each stone forms its own landscape, like a river of color running through canyon walls.
The bezel is framed with a thin silver border, detailed with subtle accent lines at north, south, east, and west, symbolic of the four directions. The silver has been oxidized for depth and polished to a warm desert glow.
It’s finished on a 46" dark brown leather cord with handmade sterling silver bolo ends, forged, oxidized, and polished by hand; an artisan touch that completes the piece with quiet precision.

Meaning:
Sonoran Sunset is known as a stone of renewal and vitality, a union of fire and water energies. The red cuprite grounds, the turquoise calms, and the green chrysocolla restores. Together, they remind us that beauty often rises from the meeting of opposites.
Wear it as a symbol of balance, strength, and movement; a piece of the desert sky to carry wherever you go.
